Every print book on our shelves has a corresponding book record in the catalog. Each record contains the title and subject headings. Subject headings are broad terms assigned to books. They tell you broadly what the book is about. Most book records also contain the table of contents and a brief overview of the book contents. These fields increase the number of relevant terms that can be picked up in a search.
When you enter search terms and hit SEARCH the catalog software cannot search within a physical book. It only searches on the contents of a book record. So you want to use broad keywords. Choose simple words or phrases, like DIVERSITY or ACTIVE LEARNING.
If you want the most recent books, change Sort By Relevance to Sort by Newest. You can also use Advanced Search and use the date limiters.
