Using the databases from home

When using the databases from home, you might be prompted to login using Single Sign On. Follow the prompts and enter your KCTCS credentials and select "yes" if you would like to stay signed in to prevent having to enter your information each time. If you are already signed in through Blackboard, MyPath, or PeopleSoft, you should go directly to the database when selected. If you receive an error message, see below for instructions on how to delete cookies & cache or open a private (Firefox) or incognito (Chrome) browser.

Problems logging in?

  1. Verify you are entering your correct FULL KCTCS email address & the password you use for email & blackboard. 
  2. Delete/clear the cookies and cache from your internet browser. After deletion, close browser, and try to login again. 90% of the time this fixes the issue.

    2. Mozilla Firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache
  3. Try a different browser.
  4. Reset your KCTCS password through the KCTCS User Account Center. Close browser and try again.
